X-Emergency Services is delighted to once again be present at the Police Resettlement Expo.
This event is a great opportunity for emergency service leavers to understand the job market and to understand how their transferable skills can be used in their next career.
X-Emergency Services (X-ES) is an organisation run to support emergency services staff and their families. This includes all staff who work for, or have worked for the emergency services in any capacity, including voluntary or retained work. We provide support for those who want to transition to a new career, want to start a business, or are simply ready to explore moving onto the next phase of their life.
Run as a Community Interest Company, X-ES already delivers a range of programmes in a number of Police Forces and is developing programmes for the Fire Service and the Ambulance Service. In addition, we run networking events and business seminars.
We deliver established programmes for those who want to start their own business, building upon a proven track record of delivering similar programmes for the military community.
Richard Rowland, X-ES Director, said ‘As a former officer I understand that it can be hard to articulate transferable skills and experience. We love supporting people to really understand and communicate their worth, so please do come and see us at our stand.’
The Police Resettlement EXPO has been brought to market to change the view of many officers leaving the force believing that the options to them are limited on the outside.
The EXPO is FREE to attend and gives you access to all the exhibition stands and speaking sessions.
