A GUIDE FOR EMERGENCY SERVICES LEAVERS

Applying for a new role and preparing for an interview requires time and focus. The following guide looks at each aspect of the process, highlighting areas ESCT considers you should explore.

Job Advert/Requirements

Job adverts come in all shapes and sizes. They can be found online, in newspapers or publications, in shop windows, in just about any place where the individual or organisation recruiting consider they will capture the attention of the type of people they are looking for.

When you respond to the advert you may be directed straight to the company recruiting or to a recruitment agency. Some organisations have their own recruitment department, which manages all adverts, applications and interviews.
